@linen Random question, new fren, are you a techie? Like do you know much about computer stuff? I'm struggling to learn about electronics, circuitry, resistors, capacitors, etc, I find the subject interesting but am reaching in the dark. I didn't know what a capacitor or a resistor was until last week.
I've been super interested, and even hyperfixated, on computery things for about a decade now

i have no executive function so my research is really slow ;_;
most of my expertise comes from the software world (worked professionally briefly). hardware wise I'm about as competent as you. I don't know a lot although I did a few small hardware repairs ("repairs" ok I broke them even more) on some old audio equipment :3
@linen I built a few jitterbugs for practice then took something apart for parts, but then I learned it just needs a new fuse so I want to put it back together now for practice. Eventually I want to fix an old phone who's battery and charge port have gone to shit.

I have executive dysfunctional so although I'm interested in things, it's very rare that I actually do anything

@linen I've never heard of executive dysfunction but it sounds like it makes it so you can't make decisions and/or take actions really good?

@linen Ok I looked it up, I have stuff like that from trauma, so I don't go out much because I'm scared of stuff, and I don't do a lot of things I want because I'm scared of failure, I didn't used to be so scared but here I am
