I heard that boys and girls used to be called young men, and young woman, a child is someone who can't wipe their ass or talk in complete sentences. Children are VERY young and when I talk about minor liberation I sometimes use this word as a shorthand for what I mean because everyone else considers them children until they're fucking 20 so I was just trying to be understood. But I think I will only use the terms "young men" and "young women" from now on. I am refusing to participate in the infantilization of people.
