Theory: Murderous jealousy exists because of evolution. Think about it, in the wild it is common for a woman to die in childbirth or to becomes maimed and unable to have more. So in a natural setting it could mean one woman, one baby. Now, imagine you see a woman with your competitor, sexually, and you become filled with rage. You not only kill him, but her as well.
