@thegreatape I watched a documentary about people who made the Avatar franchise their entire personalities and it was really sad. I've seen other people do it with different things. A few of them talked about how they wanted to kill themselves when the movie was over because they couldn't "experience that beauty" irl...and I was kind of blown away there's people that fucked up that they can't go outside, lay down on the warm ground, and observe insects for example to be transported to a world of beauty and it's REAL but they never get that.

I can't imagine making your whole life centered around Avatar lmao what. I remember they pushed the movie really hard with advertising claiming how awesome & good looking it was, and idk. Even at the time it came out it just felt like a generic adventure movie.
@Jazzy_Butts @thegreatape I was acquainted with someone who had gone to see avatar over 10 times. he had autism and later became addicted to cocaine.
