I guess maybe it wasn't the best idea to voice my opinions on certain topics along with inner aspects of my identity. I don't want people to use it as evidence supporting the hatred of trekkies, or trannies, or writers, or anything, but then I have to ask, am I responsible for the bad behavior of others? Even if not directly, does me "being myself" amplify the violence my peers have to face, and is hiding more or less moral? Is it better to sacrifice part of myself to get along in a system of evil, or is it better to be myself even if it means people like me might become more targeted?
