They should have secret all ages night clubs. Kids and adults hanging out, talking, away from weird creepy family members and their cultlike mind games.

Obviously only would work with good people, but kids need to learn things from people and most, sadly, have parents that can't or won't teach them properly, so they need to learn from others and get new perspectives and opinions.
That's why they get sent to school but it's wrong to force that on kids, they should just have clubs they can go to learn in a laid back way about the real facts of life, like whatever they're interested in, chemists will become chemists, authors will become authors, instead of retarded gimped chemists or retarded gimped authors because some assholes messed with their heads and crushed their eagerness to learn or try.
