@assailant Oh no I adhere to the non aggression principle. My view is you would have to wait until an aggressive act is made, if someone says "I'm terribly sorry, I mean no offence but...is it ok if I offer a critique? Ok thankyou, well I disagree because..." then that's not aggression, but if someone says "I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU" then it's ok to defend yourself if you believe the threat is genuine.
and if they do that's called gaslighting, and is another hands worthy offense in my book
