Falling down an espionage rabbithole on youtube. I learned a lot about mk ultra and other bad stuff as a teen but I never really cared much for the stories of individual agents. But I thought about it before going on this kick and they're really the cogs, without them none of the nefarious ideas get carried out. I wanted to know what kind of people these were, were they amoral psychopathic monsters, or were they simple people doing a small job they believed in? Or were they just afraid, and trying to survive?

@zombiefemboy The guy they're talking about now seems afraid for his family, like he's doing this for them, he had to convince the cia to give him a cyanide pill because he didn't want to be interrogated if captured. He wanted to get his family out, and that was the plan, but his family later refused, they wanted to stay, all his efforts were for nothing.

@zombiefemboy Finished his story...he ended up getting captured, likely tortured, he died from firing squad, his wife died of cervical cancer, (wouldn't be surprised if it was the result of torture) and she begged the us to help her since she was the wife of their self admitted "billion dollar agent" (he saved them countless dollars by notifying them an electronics system for a plane would be ineffective)...anyway, they ignored her.
