@Nothankssys Have you ever read The Maxx? The villain Mr. Gone starts out as a serial rapist (and murderer I think) but after getting psychic powers he could read peoples minds and finally came to understand empathy, he changes and decides to help The Maxx and Julie overcome the trauma he caused.
