That fanfic I'm working on, I want to make it kinda about mapmisa.

I need an idea, if anyone wouldn't mind.
We have the protagonist adult and protagonist minor. This minor is centered as the protagonist's "Well of Regret", a relationship formed at a time the adult wasn't as 'aware' of how irresponsible she is.
This minor, in a lot of ways, would open her eyes to how the world is by forcing her to consider new perspectives.
She also helped this minor in a lot of ways she doesn't consider for a long time.

But, I don't have an answer for how our two protagonists meet and I don't currently have any ideas.
Does anyone reading this have any?
Even if they're bad ideas, they can be valuable input to steer me in the right direction.
