Is a mentally crippled person who can only breathe on their own and very little else, they can't even sit up, are they capable of any evil givin the right circumstances? And if not, are they human? And if not, are they a higher or lower form?

If they are however capable of any evil under the right circumstances, even if those circumstances require miraculous healing or alteration, that would make them "average" in all ways, if this is so, what is ones identity? Does it shift? Is that the same person? If it's not, then it still stands, that the crippled state of that being is not capable of any evil, but the "normal" state is, again, I only question, are these even the same being? Would one recognize the other? Is a sleeping person the same as an awake person? Are they the same person? What about a coma? Are they still the same person? Death? Same person? Decomposition, dust, same person? Dust absorbed by plant, and now is part of the plants composition, still the same person?
