so... i have some bad news. i've been looking for the model used for Dollman's daughter in Death Stranding 2.

i started from the subtitles in that scene and traced them back to the scene itself. turns out it doesn't animate any characters — it just plays a prerendered video. 4K, 60fps, about 5 minutes of it.

the only models the scene actually loads are Sam, the Dollman doll, and the cord he hangs from. the first ~30 seconds is real (him asking if Sam wants to know how he became a doll, Sam answering, camera pushing in), then it cuts to video for the rest.

so yeah, that explains why nobody has ripped her. i do not think she is in the PC release version, that is.

Wander if the PS5 version is the same???
If it has non-pre-rendered.

Who am I kidding? PS5 is def pre-rendered also lol

After some looking at a lot more of the BK2 pre-rendered videos, it looks like any scenes where a lot is happening and is not characters just talking in a room are pre-rendered.
like the whole flashback on how Tarman lost his hand. its just one pre-rendered vid.
so i guess its not fair to say Kojima knew what people were going to do and made it in a way so people could not rip the model files.

Most likely just pre-rendered to not have to render it all in real time
