Billionaires ruining people's lives through surveillance. What's next in the fascist/capitalist agenda?
This is just one example of many. It's infuriating.
@InvincibleSugar @Gatitasecsii Nope terrorist pig fuckers openly state "vehicle stops are our MOST dangerous situations" and so they're already fucking geared up for any normal stop because they "don't know (sniffles, cries, boo hoos) w-who is in the vehicleeeeee wahhhhhhh", so if it's "stolen" yes the guns are absolutely coming out on the stop. I think it's terroristic gutless honorless cowardly fucking bullshit but that's the tea.
@InvincibleSugar @Jazzy_Butts
Yeah, there are good cops, but the more I see the more I realize they're the minority.
I don't know if you followed any of the stolen lego fiasco by Reckless Ben, but that video was the most blatant display of police corruption I've seen documented in a way where the accosted person was 100% in the right.
If you haven't seen it, there are condensed versions of that series, but mostly only the second part pertains to this.
@Gatitasecsii @Jazzy_Butts I haven't, but corruption exists in all levels of government.
Idk... if you say congress is corrupt, even though a few of them really are good people, I'd be fine with that.
If you said the fire department was corrupt, I'd fight that, most fire fighters are awesome.
Police? Eh, idk. They're somewhere in between, because they have way more bad apples than firefighters, but some of them are genuinely heros.
@InvincibleSugar @Jazzy_Butts
Yeah I mean, that's what I thought too, and again, I wouldn't so quickly say they're all corrupt, but I've seen a lot of stuff lately.
Did you know for example that they can turn off their body cams without explanation? Or that the footage can just be censored or deleted for no reason?
Here's the video, it's quite long, but interesting. There's also condensed "reaction" videos but id rather share the original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxZPfj8AlmY
@Gatitasecsii @Jazzy_Butts I will watch this later when sober :3
@Jazzy_Butts @Gatitasecsii I should be clear that I do like good cops, I don't see them all as pigs...
But yeah, even giving the benefit of the doubt, even understanding it's easy for me to judge them when I'm not the one there on the scene, risking myself... that response does not seem justified at all. Either we are missing information, or that cop needs to be retrained.
