sounds like a super dumb question but how do PGP signatures work. or whatevrr the term is

cant you just copy paste allat and pose as someone?

I will only ever transmit sensitive information via pigeon, seriously, if I was serious enough that I absolutely needed nobody to evesdrop I wouldn't trust anything electronic. Everything has a back door, I don't trust anybody or anything, except for pigeons and the like.
