Is there a non-MAP meaning to “BL” and “Yuri?”
I just had an interaction with someone on Bluesky, that has that in their bio. It’s not uncommon for a few MAPs to follow me on my non-MAP account. But this account has 190k followers, and has a verified mark. In my experience with Bluesky’s moderation policies, they usually nuke MAP accounts rather quickly. How is this one still up with 190k followers and a verified mark? 🤷🏼♀️

@Katie BL has more meanings than the map context. Fujoshis (I think that's what they're called? Straight girls who get turned on by gay romance stories.) often call their ships BL and the boys are usually high school senior to collage age, so, yea, but at least the ambiguity can help destigmatize the term
