You know that is bullshit right?

Whenever I have heard someone complain about the way the truth was said to them, it was because of the psyhologycall reaction to that truth, and not the way it was delivered.

And it makes your speech pointlessly vague a lot of the time. I honestly think that it is a necsesery for a person to stop lying when he doesn't need to in order to fix his own thought process.

@LukeAlmighty @Paradox I find vague speech usually isn't actually as vague as most people think if they can read subtext but maybe I just had one too many Lit classes. That said directness is preferable, but choosiness diction-wise is a nice way to soften blows without compromising on clarity, as is being empathic and self-reflective in your answer. I told her that she shouldn't feel bad about it because she may have not intended to come off that way, and that it did probably has a lot more to do with my willingness to have tested the limit and become more certain about my preferences. I think that frames thing in such a way that avoids it all brcoming a guilt-ridden spat down the line.
