What is the most pointless argument you ever had?

I once argued with my grandma. She offered to me to make one "ridiculously complicated to make" food. I amean, it is pointlessly hard to make, and it cannot even fill you.

So, I refused. My morality commanded me to stop her from wasting so much effort to get such a small result. But she started to insist. She felt the need to prove to me just how much effort she can waste on me.
