Ok... the first one is just awesome.
The rest... well, they do not work on any single level. Logic- They don't have masks in hospital. (ironic)
Symbolism? No to be found. Only beta-like submition to martals from demi-gods. (again, it just doesn't work)
Some people just cannot think in context wide enough to tell the story they see.
Damn.... I know it was the point, but that again makes Superman the hero who saves a "dumb doctor", who went to work without one :D
