Not only is it inhumane, but it is the prime example of the leftist tendency to follow crippeling of the entire society based on the lowest point possible.

If that logic is to be followed, why not blind all kids aswell? Blind people cannot just walk on the streets wihout spending hours learning the routes and hoping noone attacks them.
Why should healthy people have the priviledge to see when blind beople don't?
