Tweaked the lights, the exposure, added wet pavement and i think it looks kind of better. More cinematic? #blender

@daisuke
1) remove the wall in the background, or try changing it for something that is more natural

2) add a skybox. Without a background picture and ambient lighting you'll not get a realistic picture.

3) good luck making a night shoot look real. That is a challenge I don't know much about yet, but every light is 10 times more important to get right.

4) try adding some textures to your scene. You can never achieve realism without them. (It doesn't even matter how much they fit, but our eyes hate surfaces without details.

@LukeAlmighty thank you for your comments, i'll take note of them for sure :comfythumbsup:

Believe it or not but there are textures, the floor has an asphalt texture, there's also a HDRI skybox but i guess things like the low exposure, added volumetric ambience and the water puddles make it stand out less. I wouldn't say i was aiming for a realistic night scene but instead for a more cinematic and mysterious one.

As a bonus, here is an outtake night scene with normal exposure and three alternate takes on a day setting with HDRI light. #blender

Yeah, sorry, I can sometimes be harsh when criticizing an art piece.

The atmoshere of the render is amazing. Btw, If you have problems with power, don't be afraid to send the files next time you need to render it. I will be glad to give it some time to render.

@LukeAlmighty there was no problem with your critique, you pointed out very precise stuff and that helps me learn, don't worry about letting me know if you see wrong stuff on them :blobthumbsup:
