First: Perfetly said. I applaud your skill of articulation

Second: I had a simmilar thought in work last week. Someone decided to place a rainbow flag and a few customers were prety angry about it. The interesting thing was, that most people at job were unable to understand why would that ever offend someone.

And then I thought, do they even know that this flag was used to defend child abuse? Would they even be able to accept the fact if I informed them?

Simply said, when you display a symbol without any further information about your values, it's inevitable, that everyone will see their best and worst experience with that symbol. So when the BRAND shows that symbol, they're saying they DO support even the worst one might not be the most positive message to broadcast.

it's seriously crazy, so let me finish with a chant just to go against everything I just said :D

@LukeAlmighty @apropos @TheIronHeart As a rule, when I see a disapproved slogan, where the entire point is to question why innocuous statements are banned, I assume the best. But when I see an all-corporations, all institutions, all governments, fall-of-civilization-approved slogan synonymous with the death of obscurity of David Dorn and countless others, I assume the worst.
