Man, tell me about it... I have to sometimes even ensure our product is (what I would personally consider) worse, then previous release, and THEN a week later explain why this change is good to the customers on forum...

Well, first: I trust our product
Second: I get to see exactly what they do or do not do with it, and that is a HUGE bonus for me.
Third: I can sometimes even influence the result. And that is nice.
so that is nice.
