I have just watched the second "trump debate", and I have to say, I am seriously disappointed. Don't get me wrong, Trump did as well as he could, but when they asked him about the mask for 7th time in a row, I knew nothing of value could be gained.

My sister has a seriously bad opinion of Trump, so I showed her the "pack the court" question from the first debate. When she saw the way he redirected, she stood breathless and just said:
"That is a DANGEROUS person"
Although I hate to say it, Biden does know every basic tactic to redirect and to agree with "both sides". And while you see straight through it, I have no idea how many people are not aware enough to notice.

This is all court packing and everyone knows it but doesn't say it. People have already decided they want Justices that are on "their side" and nitpick every single decision they went through.

@zemichi @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @mystik The problem is that even though they're obviously picked for ideological reasons (from a pool of worthy candidates, but still selected for ideological reasons), once the precedent is set that the number of justices can be arbitrarily changed, the separation of the judicial power disappears. Successive administrations will add however many justices they need to flip the court to their side, and the institution that is most in need of stability, the judiciary, will now flip-flop on a 4/8 year basis.

Ok but imagine if we had like hundreds of supreme court justices and like we needed to build another massive dome onto the capitol to house them all and we called it the JUSTICE DOME and we covered it in spotlights and put a mud wrestling cage match pit at the bottom of it and had massive pay per view extravaganzas in there with cotton candy buckets and beer cups and holographic Tupac singing California Love over the steady growl of maga monster trucks and the banshee wails of bikini clad paralegals high on the lie that they can be anything, and also fentanyl.

Polls don't equal votes. Their accuracy went out the door in 2016.
Trump wants to play the "butts in seats" tactic mostly. Enthusiasm means a lot for him and he wants the big crowds as proof he is on top.
It is insanely demoralizing that biden at his highest numbers can't beat a loli shark who had just started her stream for the day. (She had a max of 45k that day)
So if Bidens polls are high but there no enthusiasm what does that really mean? Just saying I think Bernie could have gotten double Bidens view numbers

Bernie, as destructive as he might've been, at least believed in his own destructive ideology and could motivate the dysgenic crowd. It would've been interesting to see him debate Trump, but this is the stuff for a "what if" scenario, since the swamp didn't want to disturb things too much either.
