I might be too sencitive today. One friend had ended friendship with me, because I said that right-wingers aren't all just Slave-hunters.
So, I am seriously unwilling to tolarate moral weakness. Not today.
@LukeAlmighty No I’m saying that the current #MAGA stream in excusing and legitimizing attacking the government. I feel like that’s a problem potentially worse than attacking fellow citizens.

Now, that is an opinion, that I can tolerate.
I disagree completelly, and after the government told me, I have 12 hours to move out of appartment, or after they told me I cannot even throw out trash at night, I feel it's time to burn it all down...
On the other hand, citazens and shop owners did nothing maliciously wrong. especially compared to things mentioned above.

That was the micro. On Macro, you have to realize not only, that the US government did make the worst mess of an election I have ever seen, but they were unwilling to even acknowlage they did ANYTHING wrong.
If noone does anything, people do already assume, that from now on, there will be no reason bo believe any US election EVER will be decided by the people.

Today I heard a comment from Ben Shapiro (love that guy, I don't always agree, but he's smart and stretches my understanding). He noted that "politics is downstream of culture". So if you lost the cultural narrative, you're hosed if you try to budge the politics which follow.

Yeah, I get that one. My mom is a total NPC, so even telling her I have the highest possible chance of being covid-negative in last 6 months, caused her a panic attack. (lowest... not highest, no average, literaly the lowest point...)
But at least my father is pretty cool about it. He might be a classical commie, but he knows I get triggered whenever he says his mantra, and I know, he gets triggered by my insisting on moar freedoms...
But we still can debate most of the time.
Since then I haven't put any effort in political conversations with them.
