Perhaps your idealist can be libertarian. But not your pragmatist. Might will always be right. Make sure it is you who is mighty.

I do consider myself libertarian and the limitation of government is a goal.
That being said, you have no idea how many times I heard the "I thought you supported x"... You cannot support pacifism during a total war. You cannot support showing the other cheek while guns are aimed at you. And you cannot support "muh private company" while banks are taking all your money away on behalf of the government.
I am sick of moral cowards. No matter what side they are from.
