Pascals wager is exactly the strongest proof against me wasting my life here. 
But still, I do have to respect christians. especially the more intelectual ones, since some people do in fact shape their lives according to these rules.
But I also grew up in Christian school, and I saw just how little did some "christians" care about their own life. Almost as if they truly accepted the premisse that they are just sinners and there is nothing they can do about it...
Anyway, that rant asside. I do see value in the christianity, and I still cannot wrap my head around just how little do some christians respect their own faith. They will fight me for saying I don't believe, and then... well... do this shit I wouldn't dare to do even as a joke.

Exactly. I have Jewish friends who see their rabbis abusing positions of power also. Human nature never changes.

I was an atheist. Pascal's Wager gave me pause.
Reading the Bible as a nonbeliever was like seeing a survival guide for a species with a story woven in.
Eventually, I concluded that it doesn't matter if someone denies deity since much of the world believes. Like politics, ignoring it doesn't make it go away or convince others.
Faith is akin to observing celestial patterns & inferring the existence of black holes. The difference is that believers see God's influence in nature.
