I use three physical phones now because I don't want every app to share my contacts and images. What a progress! :-)
@LukeAlmighty I see that there is a way to run #anbox on Pinephone and Librem 5.. it runs Android in a container.. so this could be a solution - to run multiple android containers, if possible, to achieve the isolation.. it's so weird that the isolation it is not built-in android.. I have doubts that it's on purpose..
@LukeAlmighty i haven't tried it yet.. i don't know if it runs Android apps.. the problem is, i have to use a particular app and there is no alternative..
six years ago, I used Jolla phone.. it had an android emulator and offered true multitasking for all android apps (which is still impossible on real android).. so there must be a way to do process isolation, including separate (fake) contact list, separate (fake) phone id, access only to a particular folder, etc.
