Human rights are a matter of justice and not politics. Questions like where or not someone should be allowed to be murdered or if people should have fair trials aren't very political. There are many "human rights" or "civil rights" issues tho that are just first world issues that individuals should just figure out and handle on their own. The best example of this I can think of is trans rights (assuming I understand correctly what those rights are lol)
