Never mark the tip in the system. That is stupid.

What kind of asshole would mark the tip in the order so the boss knows about it, grabs it for hymself, and gives 50 percent of that tip to the government?

I didn't say not to tip. (although morality of tiping people in food industry is questionable outside of US and straight up immoral in US).

I said to never leave a permanent record tthat you gave them more then they charged. That simple.
