It’s literally because you don’t have 12 episodes to beat a cohesive plot into your head, so you get more time to just digest things as they come along.
Ya, so @Jugnel_ and I were watching Aura Battler Dunbine the other day and there’s this plot where the Princess orchestrates a plan to meet with the rebel prince. So the main character tries his damn best to bring her to him, only for her to be botched, thrown into a forest, and a search party episode to happened. We counted like 3 episodes of this arc happening, and it was like the most interesting thing I’ve seen in awhile, especially Sho Zama growing to appreciate Marvel.

I actually like long series nowadays.

Atenciin spam is not getting shorter, dumb people keep pushing Flash speed content afraid theyy might loose the atention of 2 people in the audience that do fall below the line.

It's all just the same shitty regression to lowest common dominator...

@LukeAlmighty @Jugnel_

>pandering to lowest denominator

Would that explain why anime fan bases , the streaming outlet their on, and the intelligence of said fan are three things to look out for?

Because every shonenfag I know of uses HuluFlixRoll but folks like Jugnel and I are bakaBT / Nyaa users who wait until a series is ripped before watch most of the time.

No. All I said was, that the fear of excluding any group always leads to the same shit. Are you afraid of excluding women? You must remove action and gender roles.
Are you afraid of excluding normies? Deep lore is gone. Are you afraid of excluding the shortbrained? Series long drama cannot be the core of your show.

@LukeAlmighty @Jugnel_

..... that doesn’t relate to why anime series are shorter nowadays. If anything, it’s more like distribution doesn’t want to pay more than it has to. You’re just going on a rant about society in an Arby’s dude.
