Ok, Vaush just asked a GREAT question, and in my opinion, Charlie anwsered the worst way possible, so I would like to repeat it and hear anwsers from the fediverse.
What values would you like to maximize in society. (Not just morality or other nebulous terms, that could mean anything depending on who you ask)
If you were to look at the society and were asked to access it's worth, what metrics would you look towards?

For me, it would be
1) The ability of people to folow their own goals without government interfierence
2) The hourly earning potential devided by price of living.
3) Stability of the society
4) Social cohesion and pride
5) (This one is obviously included in the 1st one, but I felt the need to write it anyway) A good conditions for forming families and rising childern.
The interesting part is, that before I joined the Fedi, I would never dream of including 3rd and 4th point, but people in here truly changed my mind about importance of these points.
