Art is simply an attempt to beautify a thing beyond what it was originally. A fine crafted sword can be both beautiful and functional, a painting of a thing can beautify an area, etc… It requires talent, or at least effort.

No, I refuse to believe that any of these art peaces are more then a way to move money and drain state from art donations...
