I used to be a SONY fanboy, even though I grew up with Nintendo as a kid. But honestly, these last two generations sucked pretty bad and this last one, is the most uninteresting of all.

I still like SONY's controllers best, but in all honestly, the SHARE and OPTION buttons should just be removed. I'm used to the classic START and SELECT buttons so every time I want to hit START I hit the OPTION button, or worse yet, I sometimes slip my index finger and accidentaly hit SHARE. And then weird menus pop up and I dont know whats going on.

Oh, the SELECT button is hidden in the touchpad. You have to press the touchpad. Who even needs a touchpad in a videoconsole!?

This is the kind of crap that is bringing "retro" gaming back to life, because nobody in their right mind wants to deal with this BS!
On the other hand the xbox controllers dont do this crap. There is no touchpad and it has 3 buttons for the SELECT, START, and the XBOX menu. Like the sixaxis did.

My only issues with this controller are the D-PAD being individual buttons and being too far for my index finger. If you are playing regular games, this isnt much of an issue. And in fact, I use an XBOX One controller for regular games. But for fighting games and old games that control with the D-PAD, like emulators and stuff, I always use a PS4 controller because the D-PAD is much better.

I bought a PS4 like controller for my PC, and I got incredibly pissed off to find out, that windows does not understand, that I want to control the cursor with it.

Even fucking android mobile knows how a touchpad works, and that shocked me in the completelly opposite way.

@enigmatico
And yes, I tbink that a touchpad on gamepad is a briliant idea.
