@scalar @CoQ_10 @D00B @MechaSilvio @VaxxersPostingTheirLs @gallonofvril It makes sense, especially with influenza (if a certain guys take that its all just electrical pulses isn't true, still gotta follow up on that), that viruses mutate by error, perhaps to better avoid immune response?

Versus cellular life needing more stable DNA over time. I think of Envio pressure such as with one experiment where a researcher split a colony of E Coli. and fed them two different food sources (read it really long ago and have no idea of the source right now I am sorry). Upon sequencing the genome of the two new colonies he found each had adapted to there given food stuff and the gene for the other food stuff, the E coli. were originally able to eat both, became much less prominant/ non-existant. Ethanol and Glucose I think were what was fed.
