I love how people keep asking if I am a medical expert, but when I was on train with medical students, I had to explain to them how does cardio-vascular system work, since they didn't understand the text from the book...
At least, they remembered how the 3 latin words, that will be on test are written 
To be honest, the teacher could have written, that blood moves based on preasure and is also being absorbed through the cells by using salt, but if the teacher wrote it that way, his ego might not handle the horror of his students understanding the basics.
