Younger Zoomers, or maybe I’m overestimating age maybe it’s just this next generation, will never know what it’s like to commiserate at school about some bullshit video game rumors about how you could save Aerith or play as Luigi in Mario 64.
Gaming died when it no longer had the modern equivalent of Here There Be Dragons and the exploration of what the medium could potentially do as far as I’m concerned.

@natsock @LukeAlmighty @borzoi @milk I've had this thought too. When I release games or media in general, I just simply want to not engage in answering and confirmations of theories and stuff, whether right or wrong. If you just don't expose the dev process, you can at least keep people guessing.
@milk @LukeAlmighty @borzoi There's still probably a faction who will call bullshit on Game Theory vids about Roselina being Luigi's daughter, but things on the scale of "you can play as Sonic in unmodded Legend of Ocarina with Stop-n-Swap" are gone.
