@DueceJigaboo
Economy is fake and gay, but the total suply of goods remains the same.
So no, you cannot stop inflation when printing. The problem is, that the entire economy has build in banking system and people build their lives around certainty that the government keeps inflation as HIGH as possible.
That is why nations can go billions into debt. They just cut a few percent of tbe debt value every year instead of paying.
Printing money is a scam, but distribution of suply is not.
@LukeAlmighty @DueceJigaboo and credit requires people to view each other as equal .. money removes that abstraction .. our money is all equal under the eye of the State.
@LukeAlmighty @DueceJigaboo The path to paper money was a long one. David Graber's "Debt the First 5,000" years does a good job of documenting how we got where we are.
Paper currency does require a belief around the plastic/paper, a faith in the system and the State. Taxes are sorta a way of pledging fidelity in that system. But when the system starts to fail, no one goes back to "bartering" .. people go back to keeping tabs/ledgers of exchange. Credit is the oldest form of currency.
