My take on the metaverse-thing:
Mostly big corporations change their name when they are in trouble, and not when they are doing good, no?
Good luck basing your operations around a technology, that has failed time and time again. VR is nauseating, that`s why this will never work.

VR will not work, because it goes against the principles of economzy.
You are either selling needs, convinience or luxury.
VR is in the luxury phase, but there is NOTHING convinient about it. I even as A huge gamer with a long list of Skyrim mods noped out of buying VR, when I found out, just how cheaply made that shit was. There is no consumer friendly VR out there.
Additionally, no matter what you make, you want the stuff to be acessable to most people possible. So a website with 3d plugin will be much more profitable then a 3d game or god forbid VR game.
but worst of all, he still didn't say why. Why would ANYONE want to work in VR office space or connect multiple VR games into one. That just sounds like a hell to implement for a gimmick noone needs.
