@LukeAlmighty @EyelessMC The sex of the author is unknown ( there is also the theory there more than one author ), but certainly the author ( or at least one of them ) has to be definitively a female. No men has that much knowledge on female nature to represent so accurately how female insecurity rolls out ( no to mention female masochism ) in a relationship. Now regarding the author, it started making hentai manga based of the sadomasochist persuasion. Pretty bloody too with body members severance and whatnot.
