The problem is the same as with army, police etc.
The problem is the people left after the good ones leave.

Everyone is in charge of some decisions. Leadership ain't everything.
I agree with you, but in these professions, daily decisions of each member matter a lot. So, when the good ones leave, you can no longer expect humanity from them.
