Probably, but I don't know this stuff all that well
If you update models and textures with a program those textures could get changed to the point where you have to update the game to point at the right textures.
One thing I'm thinking of is if they have a sheet with the textures and if they get resized but don't update the game the game will bring up the wrong texture.
Or a texture got replaced and now the game looks like one of those meme texture pack shitpost.

@zemichi @LukeAlmighty I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the mipmap on the wall was just a really shitty photo of someones face.
it's entirely possible that the AI they used is intended to pick up on faces and just thought it saw a face, then proceeding to build one.
Either way it's not like they just had an AI that could do everything, upscaling textures sure, but the 3d model edits are likely just automated with any 3d modelling software. I doubt humans were involved to any great extent in that dumpster fire though
