I am starting to get realy nervous about the steam deck. Although, in every single marketing material, they say it's a "linux PC", I have not seen a single frame of the OS. I have not seen the terminal, and I have not heard a single line confirming, there will be an easy access to non-steam applications. (unless the OS is changed. That option had been confirmed.)

I get the structure. My point was, if there is going to be any way to access it.

Because if the lynux is on background, but the steam boots up after lunch and I cannot use the OS outside of it, it will be prety much just another useless console.

(with obvious hacking-enabled exceptions)
