The only people who think Morrowind is "deep" and "profound" are culturally-ignorant retarded millenials and zoomers who don't recognise the mythology and art that hackbride stole from and because they see it first in a shitty video game suddenly think its the most original thing ever.
TES is nothing more than a shitty basic fantasy setting with a pseudo intellectual layer on top for midwits to fawn over. Everything hackbride ever wrote is a rip off; if he isn't stealing from Hindu mythology and Gnostic thought then he's stealing from Metal Hurlant artists like Moebius and Phillipe druillet or from the art and architecture of the middle east.
It's not even the stealing that's the bad thing. It's the dishonesty behind it. Kirkbride took the surface level elements from the material he stole from but not the deep stuff. He's the essentail pseudo intellectual midwit that sees something cool and takes from it without realises the deeper meaning it has, and his retarded fanboy nuthuggers praise him for it. Dumb zoomers who have never seen heavy metal or heard of the Bhagavad Gita suddenly think kirkbride is a modern day visionary and not the modern day equivalent of a grave robber except this time he's not getting his hands dirty and digging out skulls but instead he's ripping off profound material and speaking as if it's his own.
At least oblivion and skyrim are honest in that they know their setting is basic high fantasy and don't try to paint it as anything else. Morrowind is dishonest ur soi trash for pseuds who think blade runner 2049 and K6BD are "profound".
