Early in the pandemic, right-wingers were claiming the death projections of 100k-240k by August 1st even *with* lockdowns, which were being used to justify the lockdowns, were fake news and based on an assumption that COVID was deadlier than it actually was.

Candace Owens is one example I remember claiming this. Jesse Kelly is another.

I forget the exact number, but it ended up being right in the middle of that range. They certainly don't predict the future as well as you seem to believe

Don't worry, I was pro lockdown too, but that was BEFORE it became a global virus.

But I changed my tone as soon as it became inevitable, that the virus will stay. (It spread out of China)

So, I want talking about the earliest of early opinions, because back then, we realy knew nothing.
