I bought it recently, and I have been playing the hell out of it. It is great, because it does open up gaming in times, when you would normally have only phone... It is definitelly the aingle best gaming console on the market right now.
But:
It has locked online multiplayer behind a pay wall and games are expansive as hell.
So, I could recomend it, but only if you want to play singleplayer only AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, aftet you confirm, that you wouldn't be happier buying a GPD Win or Steam deck.

@LukeAlmighty I like multiplayer games but here’s the massive caveat: I’m total garbage at them. I think it’s in part due to age. I’m in my mid thirties now and I want to use vidya as a means of hanging out, either with IRL friends or people I met online.
I’ve been playing League of Legends lately and man do these zoomer kids completely blow me the fuck out. I’m a good sport about it because it’s not like it’s their fault that I suck, but man, I can tell that these kids put a lot of time into getting good at this, and I’m not so sure I’m willing to.
