Yeah... he ignores all of my arguments, and deforms reality in any way it suits him.
I make 3 points explaining freedom is a spectrum, He sais choosing best option out of necesity is not a choice.
I say MANY TIMES that I am against wellfare, He says I am for wellfare if we tax the rich...

At least, I gout out of it this thought:
No matter how good your job actually is, there will always be a socialist telling you, you should rather starve, because it isn't as good as their immagined "better option", and you shoudn't have the right to take anything less.
That or they'd tell you how you should be voluntarily paying THEM not to work so they don't have to come and mug you.

There were quite a few interesting jumps in the conversation.
For instance, I told him, I wished to be working when I was 13. (sadly illegal in here), and he jumped to "you want kids to die in a coal mine"...
That was just retarded... How did he jump to a conclusion, that I as a 13 year old truly wished to die in a coal mine? Does he not know, there are other jobs in this universe?
He's not thinking and just reading his dogma to you. Personally I'd stay calm and tell him, "Making 13 year olds in coal mines is what Stalin, Mao and Kim Il-Sung did. Castro didn't because there's no coal in Cuba. Castro makes them work the sugar cane fields instead. I, on the other hand, am not a socialist."

Yeah, I burned the conversation, when he declared for the second time, that we agreed on something, where I declared the direct popsite.
Eh. It happens. Perhaps your conversation will operate in the back of his mind and eventually drive him closer to reasoning instead of just throwing dogma at the wall and seeing what sticks.
