@LukeAlmighty @Mek101 Commies come so close to the problem and just shit the bed. Ofcourse the money is the problem. It has hardly any buying power left. At the speed we're actually running inflation, our salary would need to start doubling every year just to stay in place. And don't even start talking about the taxes we have to pay earning and spending. There's absolutely no motivation to work anymore otherthan to stay alive

@LukeAlmighty @harsh @Mek101 That's just with a flat tax though. I don't know how it works in places where they use commas in the spot that decimal points should go, but in the United States, larger amounts of income are taxed at a higher rate. Your example doesn't really work in that situation, so it would make sense that their mind wouldn't change.

Well, yeah, my example used a flat tax, but even if you increase the middle class tax to 30 percent, it does not hurt the middle class that much, and it still fucks the lower class completelly.

@yellowbeard @LukeAlmighty @Mek101 most places have dynamic tax rates. My initial salary was taxed at essentially 0% when i started. It is at 30% now with standard of living being the same or worse in some cases because inflation caused income to go up leading to me entering higher and higher tax brackets. It definitely hurts the poor people the most.

@harsh @LukeAlmighty @Mek101 I don't know how much I've actually interacted with Luke, but I'm pretty sure I've joined him in arguing the lolbertarian case on more than one occasion. To be clear to you though, I am firmly in the "taxation is theft" camp. Lolberts just like to pick apart any argument until bulletproof ideas and, just as importantly, expressions of those ideas remain.
