(Starting a fucking book of Boba Fett hate thread here and now.)

Do you hate the "and then, he left the bad guy live" trope?

I HATE that trope. It is lazy, boring, and immoral. Buy why the first time in a decade I see someone break the trope, it is Boba Fett killing his figurative father? A guy, who helped him during a fucking war???

-_-

Also, we are talking here about a battle of life long bounty hunter vs life long bounty hunter turned crime lord 7 days ago.

There is no moral high ground. First time, this trope is broken is actually between 2 criminals, who have no real reason not to cooperate? Seriously?

Ok... Morality.
Boba Fett is a new crime lord. But he claims to not want to rule through fear.

Do not ask me, how is he collecting all the money without fear, but let's ignore that convinient fact for a moment. Bacause they took a moment during a show to PROVE that he is a moral crime boss.

How moral is he? He told a merchant to make his water cheaper.

Yes... Boba Fets only "moral" action during the show was to issue a price control on the SINGLE MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE ON TATOOINE. You know... Since it's fucking trivial to get water the middle of a fucking desert.

@LukeAlmighty It's awful and I dropped it on the first episode. It's like it's written by 14 yr old redditors, who have no understanding of the world or history or what men in power must do to secure power.

On the other hand, he truly might be an economic genius, considering he's running a crime empire with a total crew of... 2

Ok. To be fair, by the end of the seazon, that increases to 7 + beast. Still, not exactly a crew one would expect to be capable of running a city that size.
