@LukeAlmighty bro I hate to break it to you but you don't need either. I haven't had television in years, I have never had Netflix or a streaming service, and outside of in-flight entertainment the last movie I went out of my way to see was Dune and that was like November. And essentially everyone I know is the same way.

I have to believe, based on completely bizarre conversations like this, that the consoomer memes are true and there is an entire group of humans out there who are incapable of having identity or purpose or learning anything /whatever without consooooming it as flashy, dumbed-down product. Which might explain the strange cultural obsessions with companies and brands and people adopting these things as part of their identities.

And I do look at people like that as second-class and deservingly subservient to others who are not.
