From what I've read, Russia has provided the only legitimate claim to justify the incursion. That and the recent shelling of Water Sanitation systems on the part of Ukraine's regime. I believe they will, and should lose.
US has no justifiable need to go in to this war; aside from pressure from allies and NATO. To add insult to injury against the western war industrial complex, the populists have no desire for war - not over this. Especially, when they fail to secure their own borders. It's fucking embarrassing.

Legitimate claim?
At this point, I don't care about some claims. I've spend my last 10 years watching one reason after another of why should I accept new overlords.
And the worst part? I don't care if it was a planned subversion in the first place, since the result is the same.
To be clear,
- I am against unnecessary war
- US involvement would not only spark war, but it will also expand the conflict into a global nightmare.
